The last couple of days I’ve been hugely motivated to share some great free content with you guys.
I think the reason for that is twofold…
- Writing this article means I don’t have to collect data for my final year Psychology project. I think I’ve chosen the most boring, time consuming study possible and I’m seriously regretting it!
- Every time I make a new post and notify my subscribers I get a bunch of fantastic comments on the blog and private emails. That’s my main motivation so if you want me to keep producing this stuff then leave a comment at the end
– and if you could Tweet, Facebook or promote this post in some other way then that would be hugely appreciated, too!
Right, then…
In this blog post I want to share EXACTLY what I would do if I had to start from scratch and make $500 per day in consistent, stable income with the potential for massive growth.
The system I’m about to share with you is based on what I’ve learned from Nano Continuity by Ryan Lee.
It’s definitely the best training course I’ve downloaded this year, and probably one of the best ever.
I say that because I’ve now drafted out an entire continuity program teaching list building strategies and list relationship strategies. I will charge just $4.95 per month and deliver weekly PDF training articles, arrange special interviews and case studies with other top marketers and share actual results and test data from my business.
I have massive confidence that many of my subscribers will be interested in this due to the hugely low price and that I’d also be able to funnel new members from other sources on the internet using the member getting strategies that Ryan teaches in Nano Continuity.
I have full confidence that by providing incredible value and charging such a low $4.95 per month price, I will be able to reach the point where each month I have 1,000 people sending me $4.95 per month.
And that’s all due to Nano Continuity.
If the thought of setting up a super simple continuity offer (you really can be set up in just 60 minutes) is something you want to do then grab yourself a copy of Ryan’s Nano Continuity. It’s certainly my best purchase of 2011 and I hope it will be for you, too!

Right then, now I want to share my plan for reaching $500 per day…
I’ve realised now that continuity is the only REAL way to have a stable, dependable income. I’m not saying it’s the best way, but it’s the only way to guarantee a pay check each month – if you have members that is.
That’s why with this plan I’m going to focus on building continuity income. But don’t worry if the thought of creating a membership site scares you, it can actually be REALLY, really easy.
I’ll get onto setting it up in just a minute.
First you need to decide upon a market and choose what content you’ll be delivering.
I always suggest to just go for the big markets, like health, weight loss, beauty, dating, finance, internet marketing, food etc.
You can be more specific if you want, but since I generate the majority of my traffic by getting competitors to send traffic to me (such as affiliates, bloggers, email list owners) it makes sense that the more competitors there are, the more traffic I can “steal” from them.
Now you need to decide upon a price point so that you can choose how much and what content to deliver.
Ryan Lee of Nano Continuity suggests that $4.95 per month is the “sweet spot”. It’s the price that encourages more members to join and produces the highest retention rates.
And retention is what we’re after with this model. Some continuity offers with a higher price point have a greater attrition rate. For example, they may be gaining 50 members per month but losing 100 members per month meaning their income is constantly declining.
With a low price point like $5 per month we’ll have no trouble attracting new members and members will be so pleased with the content and the low price that they’ll stay members for years.
Now we’ll be able to add 500 new members per month, while losing just 50 meaning we’ll be adding an extra $2,250 per month to our income.
And that’s stable, dependable income every single month.
At just $4.95 per month, you don’t have to create out of this world content (although I plan to with my continuity program to ensure extremely high retention rate).
Here’s what I plan to deliver each month when I launch my continuity offer – and you could offer something similar for your market.
- 2-4 five page PDF’s per month revealing list building strategies, list relationship strategies and revenue generating strategies that are working in my business.
- Regular “Premium” articles revealing test data, quick tips, and ideas.
- Monthly question and answer sessions where I answer the top 5-10 questions from paying members.
- In depth case studies and interviews of how other marketers are building their email lists.
- And a few bonus contributions from other top marketers, such as paid products for free.
Now here’s how you can set this up in just a couple of hours.
First, create a super simple salespage letting potential customers know what they will be receiving and why they should sign up. This doesn’t have to be a work of art since the price is so low customers won’t need a whole lot of convincing.
Secondly, create a Paypal subscription button in your Paypal account that charges $4.95 per month (or whatever your price point) and then as soon as someone completes their purchase redirect them to a Thank You page on your website. This thank you page should say something like:
“Thanks for becoming a member.
All member content will be delivered to you by email so please enter your email address into the form below and then confirm your email address.
Unless you complete this step and confirm your email address you will not receive any of the member content you’ve signed up for.”
Then below that put your Aweber opt-in form code (or whatever auto-responder you use).
Now you have a member set up paying you $4.95 per month, and every time you have content to share with your members you simply send a broadcast message to your subscribers.
That’s a continuity program all set up and it’s so, so simple.
Now it’s simply a case of getting members so here are a few FREE things that if you do EVERY SINGLE DAY will have a massive cumulative effect to pump new members into your continuity program.
- Contribute one guest post per day to an authority blog in your market.
- Submit one article per day to article directories like EzineArticles.com
- Post 5 new messages in forums in your marketplace.
- Make 5 blog comments on authority blogs in your market.
- Create your own blog and write one keyword targeted post per day.
By the end of the year you’ll have all the below content with links pointing back to your continuity sales page.
- 365 guest posts
- 365 articles on article directories, plus other publishers will pick up your content and syndicate it on their own blogs and in their email lists with your author resource box attached.
- 1825 forum posts each with your signature attached.
- 1825 comments on high traffic blogs.
- 365 blog posts on your very own blog sucking traffic from the search engines and promoting your continuity offer.
Those are all free traffic strategies requiring only a time investment. That means if you have very little start up capital you can get going with only a Paypal account (free), hosting and domain ($80 for a year if you go with my suggestion, Bluehost) and auto-responder account, like Aweber (only $1 for the first 30 days).
Using only those strategies will probably not enable you to add tens of new members per day – but it will give you a consistent stream.
To get a crazy number of members you need affiliates and joint venture partners.
Unfortunately with a $4.95 per month price point, it’s not really worthwhile to give half of that away to an affiliate. And even if you did, no affiliate in their right mind would promote something for a $2.50 per month commission.
Instead you need to create a “front end offer”. This could be something like a $10-$20 special report, audio or video. Set that product up with a high converting salespage and allow affiliates to promote it for 100% commissions.
Then, once a customer has purchased you can convince them to join your $4.95 per month continuity offer WITHOUT having to pay any affiliate commissions.
This way you get the best of both worlds. Affiliates send you traffic and are happy to since you give them 100% of all sales they generate and you get free traffic and buyers that you can turn into $4.95 per month members.
Now here are a few daily tasks you can complete to get affiliates to send you more sales and members.
First, have a read of my recent blog post revealing three clever ways to find affiliates.
- Find and contact one blogger in your market and convince them to recommend your product on their blog.
- Find and contact one product author in your market and convince them to put your front end offer on their download page.
- Find and contact one email list owner in your market and convince them to promote your front end offer to their subscribers.
- Find and contact one Squidoo publisher and convince them to promote your product on their Squidoo lens.
As well as the above, find other places where your market hang out and get the person in control of that traffic source to promote your front end offer.
You can realistically achieve 100 brand new front end sales per day if you are motivated, dedicated and consistent in your actions. The cumulative effect is immense.
And you can realistically convert 25%+ of those 100 customers per day into paying members to your “Nano Continuity” offer.
Not only that, but if you’re adding 100 new buying leads to your email list per day then you are building a huge list of highly qualified subscribers that love to spend money and you can promote other offers and affiliate offers to them.
This is such a fantastic business model and it’s the one I’d implement if I had to start from scratch to reach $500 per day. And it’s the one I’m going to implement (as soon as this pesky university work is over) to reach $1,000 per day and beyond.
I learned this business model from Ryan Lee’s Nano Continuity training course. I STRONGLY suggest you get yourself a copy of it if you want to set up your own continuity offer.
He goes into WAAY more detail than I have here and he has all sorts of incredible cheats and shortcuts, plus real life working case studies, including one continuity offer that generated 18,000 PAYING subscribers.

You’ve included a lot of helpful details in this post to help your readers “connect the dots.” Too often, beginners have to fill in the gaps, a lengthy and often confusing and discouraging process. But you don’t. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Dorothy
I don’t see the point in delivering only half of the content. I’m a great believer that if you provide great free content then you’ll get paid back in other ways.
Traffic to the blog has been up by an incredible amount this past week because I’ve been regularly providing free, fantastic content and am developing a loyal group of readers.
Thanks,
James
James,
This is an amazingly detailed plan! I am sure that there are many who can take what you have written her and run with it! I have also purchased Ryan Lee’s Nano Continuity and it is a fabulous product! He really takes people by the hand to set up and be successful with a continuity product. -Norene
It’s great isn’t it Norene?
I can’t wait to finally get my uni work out of the way and launch my continuity offer.
Thanks for your comment.

Thanks Harry, I really appreciate it.
Pop back in here after you’ve posted on your blog and give us a link. I’d love to check it out.
Thanks,

James, I love your content. Thanks for taking the time to lay these steps out. I actually purchased Nano Continuity on launch day and I’ve already got my program to 24 members without much promotion.
Your daily action steps is what sets you apart from most of the others out there that fail to fill in the gaps.
Keep it coming,
Russ

Hey James
Thanks for your comment and I’ll regularly check in on your blog and see where I can make a comment to add more value.
Thanks,

Lovin this content, excellent blog, I’ve been reading all of your posts when you send out your notification email and you never fail to deliver.
I’ve been really picky about what I invest in recently, I bought the internet lifestyle through one of your links and it excellent value for money.
If nano continuity delivers like the internet lifestyle does I gotta get my hands on it.
Hey Darren.
Instant Internet Lifestyle is a quality product. I an’t believe Lee sells it for $19.95!
And Nano Continuity is just as good! It gives you a clear system that you can copy – and you don’t have to be some sort of guru to make it work either!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment.
Thanks,
James
Good plan…especially the part about only charging $4.95 per month. I think that’s key to minimizing attrition. A higher fee will definitely cause too much churn. Thanks.
I have your materials and I read them all the time – your advice and strategies really stand out. You always send me value – I open all of your emails and read them! Love the Nano Community site (I will purchase before the 18th )
The strategies above are GREAT!
Thanks for your generosity!
Thanks for your comment Cathy.
I’m so glad you open all my emails – it means I’m doing something right! I hope I can provide even more value for you in the future.
James
I’m back on your site today. Just love it…trying to do my first internet product. What a challenge!
Hey James
Thanks for sharing your review/insights on the Nano Continuity program! Your action plan gets my thumbs up – brilliant content.
I look forward to hearing about your success when you launch your continuity program in the near future.

Moving my business model to the 100% commissions and nano continuity now my $97 dollars product it’s $9
I first saw the concept first by Mike Hill and he calls it Value Trojans. He talks about this in the CPA world and they get hundreds of orders per day and people get enrolled into this $5 dollars a month programs.
Look at some big sites like

The winning price it’s seems to be $5.95 that’s the price http://www.consumerreports.org has and sites above.

Great post and i am going to follow it
Thanks George for this comment.
I took a look at all of those sites and got some fantastic ideas.
Ryan Lee mentioned in Nano Continuity that ConsumerReports has 3 million paying members. That’s crazy.
That’s over $15 million per month!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment.
James
I bought this course too and thought it was a fantastic laid out plan. I am on the eve of launching my newest membership (continuity) site and have decided to adopt this model as my first test of it.
I have a great physical product for the front end as Ryan recommends that will sell for $19 and I plan on offering the (nano) continuity for the $4.95.
Hopefully if all goes well my site will be ready within the week. Thanks for the great blog post.

Thanks for stopping by Rick and good luck with your launch. I’m sure you’ll do fantastically.
James
Hi James,
Thanks for such a detailed post.
You covered everything so well in here that I almost feel like I can start my own nano continuity site now without getting Ryan’s nano continuity product. LOL
Anyway, can I just ask, after your member signs up, all the content will be sent to their email inbox? No membership area or anything?
Hey Joshua
Haha, I did go into more detail than intended but Ryan’s training has some incredible cheats and shortcuts – as well as more detail on ideas for your membership and how to set it up.
I intend to deliver all content via email to a members inbox. Ryan suggests that this is one method but lists all sorts of other options, such as protecting posts on WordPress, Infusionsoft and other scripts and software.
Since I’m not a very technical person, I’m quite happy to deliver all content via email.
Thanks for your comment,
James
Hi James,
This is good stuff here, great information considering it’s free.
You mentioned Ryan Lee, I’ve not heard of him, though I’m still quite new to this whole IM world.
However, it does have little hints of Lee McIntyre too. I bought what I believe was his front end product and I’m loving the content he gave me for, I think, $20. I absolutely 100% agree that this has to be the best way to build a business online! In fact most of this could probably be incorporated into an offline business too!
Great stuff!
Jamie Drew
Hey Jamie
Thanks for your comment.
I’d never heard of Ryan before this product either – although he’s been around since the late 90s I think. I was only 8-9 when he started online!
Lee’s stuff is great, too. He’s more into the $97 per month continuity sites and does brilliantly with them.
I’d feel under a lot of pressure each month providing content that delivers $97 worth of value each month though – that’s why I like the Nano Continuity business model.
Thanks,
James
Hey James …
I’ve said it already many times … you know. lol This post is awesome. I’m in a crunch time period and it’s going well, I just need to keep focus and start pulling in the first full flow of sales …
… and this info is invaluable right now. As soon as I’ve pulled in some ‘re-investment’ bread, I’ll be looking at Ryan Lee’s course again on your recommendation. You rock James. Thanks again dude.
Matt
Thanks for your comment Matt.
Definitely focus and start getting sales. If continuity isn’t part of your business model don’t get this product. It will only distract you.
But if it is, then this is a fantastic product. Without sounding like I’m trying to push you into a purchase, I just want to remind you that the price goes up on Friday to $77 so you might want to grab it before then if you do plan on getting this.
Thanks,
James
Hi James
It looks very similar to Jimmy D Browns Membernaire which I think you have. Is it very different as I Dont want to purchase something else when it is a simliar product?
Thanks
Denise
Hi Denise
Both deal with creating continuity programs, so in that respect they are similar. I haven’t been through Jimmy’s course in a while so I don’t remember exactly what he covers.
I’m sure that if you took Jimmy’s training and based a continuity program around it you would do just fine. Likewise, if you took Nano Continuity and built a continuity offer following that you would do great too.
I can’t say whether you should get Nano Continuity too, but if you do and you don’t learn anything remember there is an 8 week refund period as it’s through Clickbank.
Sorry I can’t be more help.
James
What a great concept of charging a small amount for quality content rather than charging $50/month or giving it away for free.
I already have a front end one time sale product in the weight loss area but am not sure how to offer monthly content that customers would love. Suggestions?
Hey James
How about a workout of the month video or pdf?
Plus nutrition training, a motivational message of the month, songs that have been proven to up your workout.
There’s a few ideas for you
James
Hi James,
I just linked over from your WF thread “100 subscribers per day..any good??” and here I am on a Nanocontinuity thread, I bought it last week via Jason Fladlien.
I got onto your WF thread by doing due diligence, as you are unknown to me, and I opted in to your list and you sent me the ALBM.pdf to check you out which seems to dovetail into your Nano strategy above.
Actually Nanocontinuity can be linked to any niche one is into and subniches alike. Marketers have had niche memberships for ever, and many were just $4.95 as a tryout to higher priced continuity.
The idea of continuous micro subs is not totally new as Jonny Andrews was doing them as he built his repute to higher subs, likewise Dirk’s Crazy Week has been doing that for more than 3 years and still go strong.
Great post here. Lots of great tid bits for improving your email marketing campaigns. Building a list has been one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made. It’s good to see someone else teaching quality list building instead of a lot of the trash you see. Keep it up!
Hello James!
I read your post today and found it very interesting. However, I have already been giving out a Video course as a FREE gift to attract subscribers. Do you recommend introducing a membership site once they have received the FREE gift?
Thanks
I am starting by offering a free gift for people to subscribe to my list. They are then directed to a monetised confirmation page and then a thank you page. At what stage do I introduce the membership?
Thanks for such a detailed plan. I am going to take this and really start taking action. Thank you
Hi,
There is something that doesn’t seem clear to me.
You’re not sure to be able to sell a product so you make it cheap at $4.95 per month so you expect more people to buy it more easily, right?
Now, to achieve this you have to sell another product that is at least 3 times more expensive (a $10-$20 front end offer)!
How does that make sense? Why would someone buy something (that probably cost you a lot of time and money to prepare) that is 3 times more expensive to buy than the real product that you really want to sell as your continuity that is 3 times cheaper?
Hi Loony
I see your point on this. There’s two reason why this works though…
1. You can recruit affiliates to promote your $10 offer for 100% commissions so you are dramatically increasing the number of sales you can generate.
2. The $4.95 per month is cheaper initially – but imagine they stay for 12 months ($60) or two years ($120) or even longer.
Thanks for your question and I hope this helps.
James
